I am so excited to teach all my students the wonderful world of art this year! It has been a great first couple of weeks seeing all my students that I have missed so dearly and meeting all my new friends at Waukazoo! It is going to be an interesting year with all the changes but we will make the most of every art class together and problem solve ways to keep on creating in our new classroom environment while practicing social distancing and safe art tool procedures. This website is a great place for parents to come see what students are learning about throughout the year in art. I can't wait to share all the awesome projects we will be creating in art class with all of you! Have a great weekend and I'll see all my awesome artists next week in class! Remember ART MAKES YOU SMART!!!

Mrs. hallI am the art teacher and creative coach at Lakewood and Waukazoo Elementary Schools, part of West Ottawa Public Schools. I received my Bachelor and Master of Art Education at Kendall College of Art & Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I'm very proud to say that I am an art teacher and truly enjoy exploring the fine arts with my students. I am also a fine artist with a focus in printmaking. It is my joy of teaching that inspires me to be a better artist; the joy of creating my own art work that makes me a better teacher. I am very thankful to have a career in something that I am passionate about and love. Archives
